Short version: Use Kibomi kindly and honestly. Kibomi is free to begin and has no timed trial. Subscriptions renew automatically: you can cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple, not us.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Kibomi (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Bidispot ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of Kibomi.
2. Who Can Use Kibomi
Kibomi is available to anyone. No account or registration is required. If you are under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU), you may use the App but should do so with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
You must comply with all applicable laws and these Terms when using the App.
3. The App and Its Features
Kibomi provides a daily affirmation, mood tracking, journaling, a morning streak, and animal companions, for personal use. Kibomi is free to begin and offers an optional paid tier, Kibomi Pro.
3.1 The free journey
Kibomi has no timed trial. The free part of the App is paced by the mornings you actually acknowledge, not by calendar days, so nothing runs out while you are away. Full access continues through your fourteenth acknowledged morning. That morning and its daily ritual finish normally; limited access begins only after the transition that follows.
A companion's awakening after seven acknowledged mornings does not end or shorten that free journey.
After that transition, one daily affirmation, your streak and mood check-in, your existing journal and saved affirmations, your free companion in their base look, one reminder, and all settings remain usable for free. New writing and saves, relationship growth, non-base looks and awakened personas, additional companions and later Awakenings, multiple reminders, and other expanded features require Kibomi Pro. Everything already stored on your device remains preserved and returns with Pro.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Available plans
Kibomi Pro is available as:
- Monthly: EUR 1.99 per month
- Annual: EUR 19.99 per year
- Lifetime: EUR 39.99 one-time purchase (non-consumable)
Local prices in your currency may differ slightly based on Apple's regional pricing.
4.2 Automatic renewal
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple Account will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period. The lifetime plan does not renew.
4.3 Introductory offers
Kibomi does not offer a free trial. The App is free to begin as described in section 3.1, and no payment is taken until you choose to subscribe. If an introductory offer is ever made available for Kibomi Pro, its duration and terms are shown by the App Store before you confirm the purchase, and if you do not cancel before the offer ends you will be charged the price of the plan you selected. Any such offer may only be used once per Apple Account.
4.4 Managing and cancelling subscriptions
Kibomi is currently available on iOS only. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple Account: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you retain access to Pro features until then.
4.5 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
4.6 Price changes
We may change subscription prices at any time. You will be notified of any price changes and, where required by law, asked to consent to the new price before being charged.
5. Intellectual Property
All content within the App, including the affirmation texts, companion character designs, animations, and the Kibomi brand, is owned by or licensed to Bidispot and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App or its content without our express written permission.
Everything you write in Kibomi, including your mood entries and journal text, is stored on your device and belongs to you. We claim no ownership over it.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Attempt to bypass or hack any subscription or purchase verification
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the normal operation of the App
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Kibomi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses.
Kibomi is a companion and entertainment application. It is not a medical service, mental health therapy, or a substitute for professional medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or your local emergency services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bidispot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of France, unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
